Our beautiful and exclusive gold-plated twin lid pocket watch is our standout watch. With two glass faces, you can see the stunning classic skeleton design of this timepiece from Royal Observatory Greenwich, the home of Greenwich Mean Time.
The watch face features a white Roman numeral chapter ring and skeleton dial, with a sub-dial showing the seconds, providing precise timekeeping. The pocket watch is supplied with a matching Albert T-bar style chain, a protective storage pouch, and a presentation box.
What is a Double Hunter pocket watch?
A double hunter pocket watch has both a protective front case and a back case which opens and allows you to view the intricate inner workings of your pocket watch.
To open the front case, press the button on top of the winder gently. Press the winder button further to open both the front and back cases.
To close a double hunter case, depress the winder and gently close the lids rather than clicking the case shut, as snapping the case closed can damage the latch.
What is a Skeleton dial?
A skeleton dial allows for the operation and mechanics of the watch to be viewed through the watch's face.
How to set the time of your pocket watch
Gently pull the watch crown fully out and turn it to move the watch hands to set the time. Then push the crown down into position.
Winding a mechanical pocket watch
To maintain the accurate running of your watch, we recommended that it be wound a little every day, turning the crown smoothly in a clockwise direction. Stop when resistance is felt as over-winding or forceful winding can damage the movement. Reset the time each day.
